Are your kids bored, frustrated, or pushing back (and you’re burning out!)?
Are you thinking homeschooling shouldn’t be THIS hard???
Hi, Homeschool Mama, we are Kim Godfrey and Jenny Barr, friends and former public school teachers turned homeschool moms. We’ve been in your shoes and have learned over the years how to navigate the homeschool world so that we could homeschool well. Happy New Year, Homeschool mom!
Are you ready to push the reset button? Do you need a new plan and new strength for the new year?
In this episode, we are empowering you with five tips for planning the New Year! A new beginning in January always brings time to reflect and renew. What has been working in your homeschool life? What needs to go? Where can you insert more creative homeschool ideas to finish the second half of the year well?
Fall semester of a homeschooling year is a time to tackle academics and establish good routines. Spring semester is a great time to lighten up and plan more field trips, interest-led unit studies, and enrichment activities to keep motivation high and homeschool successfully.
Over the years, we realized that just because we started something in the fall, didn't mean we had to keep going with it into the spring semester. This time of year is the perfect time to switch things up to allow for the upcoming doldrums of winter, the lack of academic drive with spring fever, and the fizzle out at the end of the year.
Thankfully, there are ways to combat these pitfalls, and we have 5 homeschool tips to help you plan accordingly.
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." ~Isaiah 40:31
Listen in and be encouraged.
Blessings!

Homeschool mom, can you imagine a time when no one knew anything about homeschooling? Where, if you thought about educating your child at home you were considered pretty weird?
Today we're sharing a conversation with one of the trailblazers of the homeschooling movement in our county in Florida and the challenges she faced.
You'll learn why she started homeschooling in the first place and how she and a group of vanguard homeschool friends started the first homeschool co-op.
This led her to write a how-to book for families who want to start a homeschool co-op.
Gather around, listen in, and be inspired by this amazing mama who is one of the homeschooling pioneers.

Hey, homeschool mom!
Today's podcast is an inaugural format intended to replicate something valuable from our homeschool journey, Parent Panels. We were greatly blessed by these which we attended together through our local homeschool support group.
We had monthly meetings. Then a few times of year, the support group brought together a handful of homeschool moms to share the challenges of their journey and answer our questions. We hope this format empowers you like the Parent Panels did for us with homeschool help, how-to's, homeschool news and we even added a few fun things for your kids to enjoy.
Blessings!
